THE "Mobilization for the Reduction of Inequality<\/a>\u201c, a campaign launched by ABES \u2013 Brazilian Association of Software Companies, in partnership with ReUrbi and Observat\u00f3rio do Third Sector, and with the support of Weber Shandwick, counts on the participation of the Public Ministry of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo. The donation of 19 tons of discarded electronic equipment, in addition to preventing 40 tons of greenhouse gases from impacting the environment, will contribute to the project Paideia \u2013 Pro Profession in Information Technology, by LASSU \u2013 Sustainability Laboratory of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP). Coordinated by Dr. Tereza Cristina Melo de Brito Carvalho, the program aims to train low-income young people in citizenship, microcomputers and computing, with subsequent placement in the job market and follow-up for a period of 3 years.
