Inclusion in the technology market has become a reality for former students in the group launched by Generation Brasil in partnership with Microsoft, who, after being trained in the course offered by the initiative, 75% of them are employed in the area after 180 days of graduation. Among the contracting companies, there are big names in the market such as Ita\u00fa, Porto Seguro and Connectis.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
The course offered programming training in .NET for three months. In terms of content, new technical skills and socio-emotional skills were developed, such as proactivity, teamwork and communication.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
\u201cI've been working for 8 months at Ita\u00fa, as a Junior Developer. I was unemployed and, after the course, it took about a month and a half to get hired\u201d, says Kaique Oliveira da Silva, 27 years old.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
Joceline Gutierrez Mamani, 23, is also celebrating her first job. She has been working at Breinstech for four months as a .NET Full Stack Developer. She highlights the support received by Generation Brasil after the course: \u201cI had help sending my resume, preparing for the interview and I even had support in developing technical and personal skills\u201d, she recalls.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
The class, made up of 32 young people aged between 18 and 30 who have completed high school, also stands out for the diversity it brings to the market, generally restricted to white men: 43% are women, 55% are non-white and 19% are LGBTQIAP+ people.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
INCOME<\/strong><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n For 47% of alumni, the average household income is in the range of R$ 2001 thousand to R$ 4 thousand. The job \u2013 often the first one \u2013 has a great impact on them, either because of the financial issue or because of the possibilities it opens up for the future. Joceline is one of the examples: \u201cPreviously I was unemployed; now I can help at home, which motivates me every day\u201d, he says.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n Kaique, in turn, in addition to helping with the family's bills, is already taking a bolder step: \u201cLater, I was able to leave my parents' house and pay for my own life. I felt that I was falling behind socially and financially, but the course and the job changed that perspective\u201d, he says.<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n \u201cTraining with Generation gives Microsoft the opportunity to provide in-depth training on technologies that are highly demanded by our customers and partners.
